企业如何应对即将生效的DWD认证-(EU) 2020/2184《欧盟饮用水指令》？
2020年 12 月欧盟发布了新的欧盟DWD饮用水指令 (EU) 2020/2184，该指于 2021年1 月生效，要求欧盟各成员国必须在 2023年1月12日之前将该指令转化为国家法律并遵守其规定。它们将适用于新装置或旧装置翻新或维修时使用的材料和产品，该指令将于2026年12月31日起生效，过渡条款持续至2032年12月31日。
1998年欧盟颁发了欧盟DWD饮用水指令98/83/EC，要求欧盟各成员国出台相关的法律文件，保证销售到本国的涉饮用水产品要保证人民的饮用水用水安全。但该指令没有提出一个统一证书要求，在欧盟各成员国就出现了大量的认证要求。
例如德国KTW-BWGL认证，法国ACS等。
好消息是新的(EU) 2020/2184《欧盟饮用水指令》仅需产品具备DWD认证就可以进入所有的欧盟成员国，这将减少了企业的时间和经济成本。但在产品未取得DWD认证之前，过渡期间如何破局？
在2032年12月31号之前，企业产品必须有相应的国家认证或者新欧盟饮用水指令（DWD）认证，比如在法国，就需要有ACS或者DWD证书；在德国，需要KTW-BWGL标准或DWD证书；如果任何的证书或者测试报告都没有，那么27年1月1号之后，就会被视为不符合相关国家的饮用水法规。

In December 2020, the EU published the new EU Drinking Water Directive (EU) 2020/2184, which came into force in January 2021. It requires all EU Member States to transpose the Directive into national law and comply with its provisions by 12 January 2023. These provisions will apply to materials and products used in new installations or in the refurbishment or maintenance of existing installations. The Directive will take effect on 31 December 2026, with transitional provisions remaining in force until 31 December 2032.
In 1998, the European Union issued the EU Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC, requiring EU Member States to enact relevant legislation to ensure that drinking water products sold within their territories guarantee the safety of the public’s drinking water. However, as the Directive did not specify a single standard certification requirement, a wide variety of certification requirements emerged across the EU Member States.
Examples include the KTW-BWGL certification in Germany and the ACS certification in France.
The good news is that under the new (EU) 2020/2184 ‘EU Drinking Water Directive’, products need only hold DWD certification to enter all EU Member States, which will reduce the time and financial costs for businesses. However, how can companies navigate the transition period whilst their products have not yet obtained DWD certification?
Before 31 December 2032, companies’ products must hold the relevant national certification or certification under the new EU Drinking Water Directive (DWD). For example, in France, an ACS or DWD certificate is required; in Germany, compliance with the KTW-BWGL standard or a DWD certificate is required; If no certificate or test report is available, the products will be deemed non-compliant with the relevant national drinking water legislation from 1 January 2027 onwards.
SealTex products, the ST-2058-W and ST-2058-G, currently hold the German KTW-BWGL drinking water certification, which is valid until 2030. SealTex is actively pursuing DWD certification to assist its clients in the drinking water sector with their expansion into the EU market.
